Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, credits, and transfers work for paid workshops and courses offered by RitamAI Learning Academy (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. (“RitamAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope
This policy applies to paid workshops and courses offered by RitamAI, whether delivered online or in person (offline), and booked and paid through the Website via our payment gateway, Razorpay. Free events and “register your interest” sign-ups, which involve no payment, are not covered.
2. Cancellations & credits
Our paid workshops and courses are non-refundable. Once a booking is paid, we do not provide cash refunds for cancellation, non-attendance, or change of mind. Instead, the value of your booking is protected as credit:
- Carry your credit forward. If you are unable to attend a workshop you have paid for, the amount you paid is retained as credit that you may apply to any other RitamAI workshop or event in the future.
- One-year validity. All payments are valid for one (1) year from the date of payment. Credit that is not used within that period lapses.
- Transfers by permission. A booking or credit may be transferred to another person or another session only with our prior permission (see Section 5).
3. Cancellation or rescheduling by us
If we cancel a workshop, you may carry the amount you paid as credit toward another RitamAI workshop or event, or, where required under applicable law, request a refund. If we reschedule a workshop, you may attend on the new date or carry your credit forward, subject to the validity in Section 2.
4. No-shows
If you do not attend a workshop you have booked and have not arranged a transfer in advance, it is treated as a no-show. As set out in Section 2, your payment is not refunded, but is retained as credit that you may carry forward to a future workshop or event within its validity.
5. Transfers
A booking or credit may be transferred — to another date, another workshop or event, or another person — only with our prior permission, and subject to availability and the one-year validity in Section 2.
6. Digital materials
Where a workshop includes digital materials (such as a handbook or prompt library), once those materials have been delivered to or accessed by you, the value attributable to them may not be available to carry forward as credit.
7. How to transfer
To transfer a booking, or to apply your credit to a future workshop or event, email us at contact@ritamailearning.academy from the email address used to book, with your name and booking details. Transfers are subject to our permission, availability, and the validity period in Section 2.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
